I didn't mind the second half of Halloween, the back story I didn't care for...

I liked F13 for what it was.

H2 sucked balls.

Worst:

Black Christmas (2006): I hated it!

I forgot about Black Christmas... That sucked.

I liked the Friday Remake a lot more then the original. I don't get the hate it gets. I mean, you has annoying teens, drugs, sex and Jason fucking people up. That's all the F13 series has, by terms of movies its a bad concept, bad actors. You can't really get a movie like that wrong, I think people just hate on it because it's a remake.

i didn't like Friday 13th remake either.. the movie sucks, i'm actually not a fan of the friday 13th movies..

These can be foreign to american remakes as well, right? I'd like to include:

Shutter
The Grudge
Let Me In (of course I haven't seen it yet, but I think we all know it's gonna be real bad!)

The Grudge was bad... I like the Japanese originals better.

Me, too. J-horror has its own feel that we can't hope to reproduce effectively.

Even The Ring wasn't so good compared to the original.

I haven't seen the original, but I hated The Ring remake.

I think we can all agree that The Fog and Prom Night are up there.The Fog should have been way better with Carpenter/Hill on board and Prom Night has a completely different plot than the original.

That too! it works for a movie like Poltergeist but a slasher?
