Re-Animator (1985) Reanimator-movie-poster-small

A medical student returns from Austria after working in regenerative experiments with a well known scientist who died under mysterious circumstances. He enrolls at Miskatonic University where he begs to differ with his professor on issues of the time of death, and eventually enlists his roommate to help him continue experiments on re-animating the dead. Based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft.

I absolutely love Re-Animator. One of my favorite 80's horror movies. Although it's very loosely based off of H.P. Lovecraft's short story, I like that it created it's own unique story. Herbert West is one of my all-time favorite characters, he's like a Norman Bates. Great characters, good story, well placed humor, enjoyable special effects, overall perfect 80's horror experience. hahaha Laughing
